Privacy & data

This first version is a private review site. Public contact and mailing-list arrangements must be completed before public launch.

Newsletter registration

If you tick the email-updates box, the site stores your email address, the time of registration and the consent wording. Contacting TruthCast UK does not subscribe you unless you actively select that option. These records are available to the authorised site editor for managing TruthCast updates. This site does not yet send automated emails.

To withdraw consent or request deletion, use our contact page.

Contact messages

Messages submitted through the contact form—including your required email address, any name and your message—are stored for the TruthCast UK editor to review and respond where appropriate. Do not submit sensitive or classified information.

Audience voting

The site stores your selected answer and an anonymous browser identifier so the same browser cannot repeatedly vote in one poll. It does not attach your email address or name to a vote.

Video playback

YouTube players are embedded on video story pages and connect to YouTube when the page loads. YouTube or Google may process device, network and playback information.

Site access

Hosting and sign-in providers process information needed to serve the website and protect editor access. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Editor sign-in is managed through ChatGPT.
